Description
A billet engine block for the GTR VR38, available in wet or dry-sump configuration. The block is machined from 6061/T651 aluminium that is rough-machined, re-heat-treated and stress-relieved before final machining; the main girdle is 7075 billet aluminium, fastened with 12mm main bolts and precision line-bored. Darton Top Fuel sleeves are used for strength in this water-cooled application, with sleeve top and bottom positively located and all tolerances CMM-checked. Developed and manufactured in-house.
