Description
An ARP2000 head stud upgrade for the McLaren M840T (also fits M838T), supplied as a set of direct OEM replacements made to manufacturer specifications — no block modification required. The kit contains 20 M12 ARP2000 studs with nuts and washers.
ARP2000 is a modified 8740 alloy with a typical tensile strength of ~220,000–230,000 psi, well suited to high-performance street and track use at moderate-to-high boost. Versus L19 it is less prone to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion and easier to handle, making it the cost-effective choice for builds under about 1300hp.
